New Horse cooling misting system installation by:
 
 
     One March 2nd. 2016 our installation department installed over 200' of stainless steel atomization misting line over four horse stalls and over the middle of the walkway to cool off all the horses and anyone inside the structure. When the misting system turns on, only the two rows of mist over the horse stalls turn on, then for when the weather gets warmer we installed a section control valve for the misting line above the middle walkway that can be turned on and off anytime the customer pleases. We also plumbed a new water line and ran new electrical from the breaker panel to the pump module and installed our industrial HD-1000 pump module with a 2HP motor, 1.5gpm pump, a power switch on the front of the pump module and a pulsation dampener to keep the vibration noise   to a minimum so the horses don't get spooked.

     If the weather is either too hot or humid it is extremely hard for horses to shed their body heat. Most animals are kept in barns or shade structures that can be substantially hotter then outside temperatures due to the radiant heating of the steel structure. Our custom designed misting systems can protect horses from excessive heat and keep them cool and refreshed. All of our custom designed misting systems are energy efficient, use water only when needed and provide you with an economical solution.

     Recently Mario's Italian Café in Palm Desert, CA has contracted us at Custom Mist Inc. to design and install a custom high pressure patio mist cooling system for both their patios to cool off all their customers and staff. Our technicians installed over 200' of stainless steel tubing with custom built copper extensions mounted under the front entry awning and on the south patio we spaced out the nozzles every 24" because of the low patio and because we aimed the nozzles straight down to make the system more effective, on the north facing patio facing Hwy 111 we spaced out the nozzles every 18" because we aimed out the nozzles out at a 30 degree angle so none of the customers will get wet and to create a cool and soothing atmosphere for everyone on the patio. We mounted our Industrial pump module on the roof and tapped into an existing water source that we plumbed to the pump module and plugged into a 240 volt switched outlet ran from inside provided by the restaurant.
 
     The pump module that we designed and installed was our Industrial HD-1000 series with a 2Hp motor and  2.2gpm pump head that is capable of supplying 100 misting nozzles as seen in the picture below.

     Recently our engineering and installation department has designed and installed this beautiful misting system at this private residence located in Big Horn Country Club. Our installation department installed our (welded) stainless steel misting line across the outer face of their north & south facing patios with nozzles spaced every 12", two industrial pump modules so each patio misting system can run independently and to keep the noise level to a minimum, two ultra light cement pump pads, independent power switches to both patios, we also installed all water and electrical lines to both pump modules and painted all the stainless steel atomization line, clamps and screws for a more clean and hidden look. The entire installation process from start to finish only took six hours to complete with two technicians.
 
     Before  installation our bidding department conducted a proper inspection of the area our client desired to have a misting system installed and then we carefully drafted all options in order to insure they were aware of all available options as well as a course of action to safeguard that the job is completed in a timely, efficient and effective manner.

Cannabis Misting and Humidification Systems


   With the recent developments surrounding medical marijuana, there is a growing need for misting systems to help resolve some of the challenges and issues associated with large scale cannabis propagation. Although the needs vary from facility to facility they include effective odor control, humidification for flowering, curing and drying rooms, disinfecting and sterilization of maturing flowering plants. In all these cases, A Custom Mist high pressure misting system is ideal to address and solve all these issues.

Odor Control:

    Due to the pungent odor associated with the flowering of the cannabis plant, in order for growers to maintain their license, many grow facilities have a mandated requirement to provide an effective method of odor control. By having a Custom Mist misting systems installed with a chemical injector we can also prevents odors from leaving the target area because in most states the odor must be prevented from escaping outside the facility. Since 2004 our engineering department has developed an effective means of odor control by injecting proprietary blends of all natural and bio degradable ingredients into our high pressure misting systems that will produce billions of atomized water droplets that are 1/10th. the size of a human hair and will eliminate noxious odors including the pungent odor associated with flowering marijuana plants. This is not a masking effort by any means. It eliminates the molecules that contain the odor and will protect your business from getting costly environmental fines and citations.
 

 Humidification:

    A lot of marijuana grow facilities require higher humidity levels than normal during the various stages of propagation and harvest. When adding humidity in large open areas during the flowering stage, misting fans or a traditional stainless steel line system can be used also. The drying and curing stages will usually be in smaller more confined area and for maintaining slightly elevated humidity levels during these stages of the harvesting process we recommend one of our oscillating high pressure misting fans so the mist will evaporate quicker and not build up the moisture. This will
create the perfect growing environment by controlling the temperature and humidity levels all year round to create the perfect micro climate. The advantages of being able to control the temperature and humidity levels will reduce produce spoilage, reduces venting during warmer periods and will increase product production.
 

 Disinfecting and Sterilizing:

    The three most devastating developments for a grow facility are the development of insects, fungus and pests. This can be especially disastrous during the critical flowering stage of the plant. In most cases this can result in a product that cannot be used for medical use. Incorporating Custom Mist technology, an FDA approved proprietary blends of all natural and bio degradable ingredients and installing a Custom Mist high pressure industrial HD-1000 pump module with our atomization nozzles will allow for complete coverage of all buds and leaves in seconds which will eliminate the growth of mold, mildew and pests.

    Charcoal filter systems have traditionally been used and when properly designed and installed, they can be effective. However, they can also be two to five times expensive and time consuming and costly to maintain.

    The picture below shows a typical PVC low pressure misting system that was previously installed then on the bottom right of the picture we installed a Custom Mist three nozzle high pressure stainless steel misting system that runs on a recycle timer for two minutes and turns off for ten minutes. Our high pressure misting systems use less than 1/10th. the amount of water than a low pressure misting system and are more efficient.
