New misting system installations.

 

 

     Our custom high pressure misting systems have been used in outdoor cooling applications for over a decade. Our systems will provide outdoor cooling reducing temperatures by up to 30 degrees Fahrenheit with virtually no noticeable increase in the relative humidity. Applications for outdoor mist systems include restaurants, theme parks, hotels and resorts, arenas, tennis courts, golf facilities, fountains, waterfalls, patios and more.

 

     A Custom mist system when pressurized to 1000 PSI, the water droplets are as small as 5 microns (5 millionths of a meter or 1/10th. the size of a human hair) in diameter can be produced. At this level, ‘flash evaporation’ occurs reducing the ambient temperature by up to 30 degrees. This process of ‘Thermal Dynamics’ is effective because water requires energy (600 calories of heat to evaporate 1 gram of water) to evaporate. This energy exchange results in outdoor cooling and reduces the temperature inside the area which the misting system is installed around.

 

     As with any outdoor mist cooling system, the overall effectiveness of the mist system will depend on the outside temperature, the humidity levels, and the air exchange rate. With temperatures above 80 degrees Fahrenheit and low humidity levels (below 60%) the mist system results can be dramatic especially when there is constant air exchange within the patio. Fresh incoming air is quickly cooled without causing an uncomfortable increase in humidity levels. As with any evaporative cooling system, the more moisture evaporated, the greater the systems outdoor cooling capability will be.
