     At Custom Mist we recently finished up a new misting system installation at Honda in the Desert in Cathedral City, CA. to cool off all their service customers and staff. We installed over 150' of (welded) stainless steel atomization line with nozzles spaces every 12" on the north & south face patios and on the east patio we spaced the nozzles every 16"  because of the height difference so when their customers get out or in of there vehicles they can stay cool even when the temperature is over 100 degrees.

   The Custom Mist Adjustable (ADJ.) atomization line uses a patented collar that slips over the stainless steel tube. The collar comes with two sealing rings that make a pressure tight seal against the outer wall of the tube. The stainless steel is precision drilled at preset intervals (nozzle spacing) and the collar is factory mounted over the hole. Once installed at the application, the nozzle array (with extender etc.) is screwed into the collar and can be rotated to the desired angle. All ADJ. atomization line is constructed of 3/8" outside diameter stainless steel tubing.

   At Custom Mist we create a dry curtain of mist around the perimeter of your patio or desired area in which you want to cool that flash evaporates and does not get the surrounding area wet and that is due to our custom designed atomization nozzles that are made of brass with a stainless steel impeller chamber. Each nozzle is equipped with an anti-drip ball and spring that will shut the nozzle down at 70 psi. which will help eliminate clogging and dripping of the nozzles when the system is shut down. A standard mist nozzle orifice is .008 and each water droplet is 1/10th. the size of a human hair. Other sizes and stainless steel nozzles are available to meet any requirements.

   All of our Custom Mist pump modules are designed and assembled in our facility and are all equipped with a dual filtration system to ensure clean water to the nozzles, rubber mounted sub frame, rubber motor mounts, constant duty totally enclosed fan cooled (T.E.F.C.) single phase industrial electric motor, electric water valve, and a thermo over load reset button to ensure durability. Each pump module is custom engineered for specific applications, such as motor rpm, voltage, horsepower, staged, zoned and for wireless remote systems.     If your a contractor or home owner building or remodeling your home a flush mounted misting system is highly recommended if you don't want to see the atomization line inside or around the perimeter of your patio. Our technicians at Custom Mist will install an aluminum fry molding while the house or business is still in the framing stage, then once the stucco is applied we install the stainless steel atomization line inside the fry molding and cover it up with a custom fitted and drilled aluminum track cover so only the nozzle tips extrude through the track for a true custom misting system.
