   At Custom Mist we manufacture, distribute and install a wide verity of stationary and oscillating misting fans for ultimate cooling for a wider area of coverage where a mist system around your patio is just not enough or for very humid climates. Misting fans can be added to any existing misting system and will cool you off as much as 35 degrees instantly. All of our mist rings are made of stainless steel and come in a wide verity of sizes so they can be retrofitted to any size fan with any number of nozzles. Shut-off valves can be added to any mist ring so you can just use the fan without the mist if you prefer. We also install fans without attaching any mist to the fan so you can just move more air around your outdoor living area or work place.

   When installing misting fans we need to install a custom high pressure pump module which will pressurize the water to 1,000 psi. to get an ultra fine mist. All of our Custom Mist pump modules are designed and assembled in our facility and are all equipped with a dual 5 micron filtration system to ensure clean water to the nozzles, rubber mounted sub-frame, rubber motor mounts, constant duty totally enclosed fan cooled (T.E.F.C.) Marathon single phase electric motor, electrical water valve, Cat industrial ceramic plunger pump, low pressure switch, drain valve, adjustable pressure regulator, 2000 psi liquid filled gauge and a thermo over-load reset button to ensure durability. Each pump module is custom engineered for specific applications, such as motor rpm, voltage, horsepower, staged, zoned and for wireless remote systems. Our mist systems are designed to take 35 psi. and turn it into 1000 psi. for ultimate cooling.

   At Custom Mist we can incorporate our misting systems into any palapa. Our factory trained technicians install our (welded) stainless steel atomization line around the outer edge of the palapa hidden under the palm-frons and install custom built copper extensions to extrude through so you only see the nozzle tips for a true custom designed and installed misting system.

   On all of our systems we create a dry "curtain of mist" around the perimeter of your patio or desired area that flash evaporates and does not get the surrounding area wet and that is due to our custom designed atomization nozzles that are made of brass with a stainless steel impeller chamber. Each nozzle is equipped with a anti-drip ball and spring that will shut the nozzle down at 70 psi. which will help eliminate clogging and dripping of the nozzles when the system is shut down. A standard mist nozzle orifice is .oo8" and each water droplet is 1/10th the size of a human hair. We keep thousands of nozzles in stock at all times to meet all job requirements and other sizes and stainless steel nozzles are available.
